Conductor of Luxembourg Philharmonic Orchestra Born in Copenhagen in 1954.
Graduate of the Royal Danish conservatoire of music in 1976.
Student of Ole Schmidt, and has also studied with Neeme Järwi, Wladimir Delman and Arvid Jansons.
Debut with the Århus Symphony Orchestra in 1982.
Resident of Italy from 1983 to 1991, and finalist of the ‘Arturo Toscanini Competition’ in Parma in 1985.
Conductor of the orchestra of the Teatro di San Carlo in Naples from 1989 to 1991.
Martin has lived in Luxembourg since 1991 and teaches at the Conservatoire du Nord d'Ettelbruck.
Conductor of Luxembourg Philharmonia since 1996.
Conductor of Eifel-Ardennes Symphonic Youth Orchestra since 2006.
Conductor of Larochette Symphonic Orchestra (yearly seminar) since 2015.
Visiting conductor of Orquestra Philarmónica de Lisboa since 2015.
